Statute note
A reminder on the 30-day threshold
The Tanner Act's "cumulative 30 days out of service for warranty repair" presumption applies when those days are accrued within 18 months of delivery or 18,000 miles, whichever comes first. It is cumulative — not consecutive. Three one-week visits in that window count. Keep every invoice (Cal. Civ. Code § 1793.22).
